Learning from Playgroup to Std 10

Four stages on one campus, taught in English under the CISCE. Children in the Early years move into Std 1 without a fresh admission.

Playgroup · Nursery · KG

Early years

Where the school began, with 40 children in KG in 2009.

The Early years run on play, stories, songs and the kitchen garden. Children plant seeds, water the beds and pick what grows, and the garden gives them a reason to count, measure and talk.

The aim is for children to feel safe, curious and ready for formal learning. Children from the school’s own KG move into Std 1 without a fresh admission.

Std 1 to 5

Primary

Reading, number sense and making things.

Primary builds the habits of reading, writing and number sense, with plenty of hands-on work. Marathi and Hindi join English as second and third languages.

Every class has a scheduled library period each week, a monthly book swap, and an art and clay session. The first Std 5 was in 2012, and the stage has been complete ever since.
